Made entirely of sandcast sterling silver and turquoise, this impressive pendant by Navajo silversmith Shawn Cayatineto features a butterfly shape not only in the sterling portion, but within the cluster of turquoise stones as well. Nine blue-green turquoise stones set in sawtooth sterling silver bezels are clustered at the center of the sandcast sterling silver panel, creating a smaller butterfly within the larger frame of the pendant. Each stone contains portions of either white or black matrix, and the remainder of the piece showcases hand stamped and repoussed sterling silver, in triangle, scallop, fine line, and dot designs. Bail of the piece is also hand stamped along the center from front to back with scallop patterns, and the brushed, cast sterling gives the piece a vintage look. 3″ long x 3 3/8″ wide.
