Description
A thick, substantial piece of black and brown Picasso marble comprises the entirety of this exquisite bear fetish by Zuni carver Nelson Yatsittie. The bear stands on all four legs, its feet carved with fine lines and its head shifted slightly to one side. Its eyes are inlaid with turquoise, with one side predominantly black in color and the other half black and half brown, with hints of tan coming through. In most Native American cultures, the bear represents strength, introspection, healing, and the spiritual journey. 2 1/8″ tall x 1 1/4″ wide x 3 1/4″ long.
