Description
Three corn maidens cared from a single piece of off-white obsidian connect along their sides and/or backs in this innovative fetish by Zuni carver Cheryl Beyuka. Two maidens face the same way while the third faces the opposite direction, each featuring beautifully etched lines along the hair and bodies, creating kernels, as well as accents in turquoise, coral and jet. Corn Maidens are considered bringers of life and representations of potential. 1 7/8″ tall x 1 3/4″ wide x 1″ wide.
