Description
Zuni carver Freddie Leekya showcases a fun sense of humor in this piece carved from Picasso marble, depicting what he calls a “sexy frog.” The frog rests on its stomach, front limbs up underneath its chin and back limbs crossed one over the other. The frog is carved with a discernable buttocks and is accented with turquoise along the waist and eyes. In many Native American cultures, the frog is considered a bringer of rain, fertility, abundance. 1 3/8″ tall x 1 1/2″ wide x 2 5/8″ long.
