Description
Carved entirely from a substantial piece of muted blue-green turquoise, this adorable fetish by Zuni artist Cheryl Beyuka depicts a rabbit. The rabbit features tiny coral inlaid eyes and etched whiskers, its ears pinned back along its head and limbs tucked into its front. It is finished with a round turquoise tail. In many Native American cultures, is considered a special guardian of women in childbirth and assures long life for children. 2″ tall x 1 3/8″ wide x 2 3/8″ deep.
