Carved from cottonwood, this adorable bear by Zuni artist Elise Westika is finished with a row of turquoise nuggets strapped along its back. The bear’s body varies light to dark brown, the piece carved to make its fur look life-like, while its eyes are painted on in white and black. In many Native American cultures, the bear represents strength, introspection, healing, and the spiritual journey. 1 1/2″ tall x 1 1/2″ wide x 2 1/2″ long.
