A delicate, beautiful corn maiden carved out of pink mussel shell and set with turquoise, lapis and coral accents rests atop a large, stunning #8 turquoise base in this unique Zuni fetish. The turquoise base takes an unusual shape and features large portions of brown matrix, while the maiden is etched with vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines and finished with inlaid jet eyes. In many Native American cultures the corn maiden is said to be the bringer of life and represents potential. 3 1/8″ tall x 4 3/8″ wide x 2 1/4″ deep.
