Description
Outstretched wings are covered in brown fir and white feathers in this detailed hawk kachina doll by Navajo silversmith Victor Abeita. The hawk stands atop a round wooden base, one foot lifted and extended backward. The hawk features a pink face with black accents and a protruding, yellow and black hooked beak, the top of its head adorned with red feathers and a piece of turquoise. Brown leather in two colors surrounds its waist, accented with an additional turquoise piece, and a red feather is attached to its back. 7 1/2″ tall x 7″ wide x 5 3/8″ deep.
