Description

Acoma potter Andy Juanico both created and painted this beautiful, traditional jar by hand.  The large, polychrome piece showcases a white backdrop painted in black and red with various weather patterns, beginning with whirlwinds along the rim that give way to fine lines representing rain, as well as cloud designs, all expertly painted within reoccurring panels.  The rim of the jar is painted solid black, while the base features another circle of whirlwind designs.  8 3/4″ tall x 9″ wide.
