Description

Navajo potter Alice Cling, well-known for her pine pitch work, created this gorgeous jar in the same style, finishing it beautifully and interestingly with a sloped rim.  The piece varies reddish-brown to black in color and features a hint of a natural green paint just below a portion of the rim, adding color and a bit of additional dimension.  The jar is polished to a high-shine with pine pitch.  7 3/4″ tall x 6 1/4″ wide.
