Expertly handmade, this adorable horse figurine by Acoma potter Judy Lewis showcases beautiful and vibrant hand painted designs along the majority of the body.  The horse lays down, its legs tucked beneath its tail and mane painted black.  The horse’s expressive eyes, nose and mouth are also painted in black, along with its hooves.  Along the body, various traditional feather and weather designs, as well as a lizard, lady bug, and butterfly are painted in black, brown, orange, green, and blue.  In many Native American cultures, the horse symbolizes mobility, stamina, strength and power. 5″ tall x 7 1/2″ long x 4 5/8″ wide.
