Description
Handmade by well-known Kewa potter Robert Tenorio, this gorgeous jar showcases hand painted patterns in black and orange and red on both the outside and the inside. The rim of the piece is painted black, giving way on the outside to panels of reoccurring, traditional designs including weather, feather, and geometric patterns. The portion of the jar above the inflection is painted with reoccurring feather patterns interspersed with weather designs along the outside of the piece, while the space below the inflection features various geometric designs above a red banded base. The inside of the jar is painted with four deer, while the bottom of the inside is etched with a hand pattern. 7 1/2″ tall x 9″ wide.
