Description

Handmade, etched and polished by Jemez potter Wilma Baca Tosa, this incredibly impressive jar features various patterns along nearly its entire surface.  The rim of the piece is one of the only parts of the jar that’s left polished but otherwise unadorned, giving way to various panels of gorgeous etched patterns.  These patterns include stars, steps, and whirlwinds, some of which weave their way in wavy panels which cut through larger panels of more reoccurring designs.  The piece is finished with a stunning, high-shine stone polish.  5″ tall x 5″ wide.
