Created by well-known Isleta potter Stella Teller, this beautiful storyteller showcases a seated woman and four children, featuring Stella’s signature white slip and hand painted designs in grey and buff. Four children are seated upon the woman’s lap, one bigger girl and three boys, each with their mouths open. The girl holds one of the boys, while the boy opposite her plays a drum, and his brother holds on to the drummer’s shoulders. The woman also features an open mouth and closed eyes, her hair pulled up and back, finished with a sash. Turquoise necklaces surround the necks of both the woman and girl. 5″ tall x 3 1/4″ wide x 4 1/2″ deep.
