A standing woman holding a long, folded blanket is flanked by two children in this traditional storyteller figurine by Jemez potter Chrislyn Fragua. The woman’s mouth is open and cheeks are rosy, with her hair pulled up in a bun on each side of her head. One child rests over one of the woman’s shoulders, while the other hides halfway behind the blanket on her opposite side at her feet. The blanket features traditional patterns in buff, red, black, brown, and grey, while the woman and little girl are painted mostly in red, and the little boy in black and grey. 5 3/4″ tall x 3″ wide x 2 1/8″ deep.
