Description
Created by hand by Jemez potter Helen Tafoya, daughter of well-known potter Vangie Tafoya, this brilliant little jar features an etched front and a polished back. The front of the piece showcases a hummingbird surrounded by flower patterns, the bird accents in black and finished with a white mother of pearl dot to form its eye. The remainder of the piece, save for the back portion around its opening, which is etched with triangle and dot patterns, is beautifully stone polished but otherwise left unadorned. 3 1/2″ tall x 3″ wide.
