Description

Handmade by Acoma potter Judy Lewis and showcasing her signature, whimsical details, this adorable and incredible figurine features a cowboy riding a horse.  The horse and boy both face the same way, their heads turned to one side.  The boy is wearing a cowboy hate and holding a rope in one hand, his other hand placed along the horse’s neck. The boy is painted in red and white with black details and brown shoes, while the predominantly white horse is painted in various geometric and weather designs in orange, red, blue, black, green and grey.  A little lizard is painted along one of the horse’s front legs, its head protruding outward from the leg and painted black and white, while a grey bird rests along the horse’s tail.  Judy’s signature is written on the horse’s belly, along with her name for the piece, “AJ.”  8″ tall x 5 1/2″ long x 3″ wide.
