Description
Two children and an adorable dog rest in the lap of a seated woman in this traditional, handmade storyteller figurine by Jemez potter Chrislyn Fragua. The woman rests with both legs outstretched, a shawl draped over her shoulders painted in various traditional patterns in black and red. The woman’s eyes are expressive, cheeks rosy and mouth open, while two children and a dog rest in her lap. One child plays a drum, while the other has a blanket slung over one shoulder. Each child also features expressive eyes and an open mouth, while the dog, buff and black in color, appears to be smiling. 5 1/2″ tall x 2 1/2″ wide x 4 1/2″ deep.
