Handmade by Jemez potter Darrick Tsosie, this lovely, traditional storyteller figurine features a single child in the lap of a seated woman. The woman holds the child around the waist with both hands, a shawl draped over her head and shoulders painted in grey, brown, tan, and white. The child is painted in grey and white clothing with black accents, his eyes expressive and mouth smiling. The woman’s eyes are also wide and expressive, her head tilted upward and mouth open. 5 1/2″ tall x 2 3/4″ wide x 4″ deep.
