Description

Turquoise, coral, jet, and white and golden mother of pearl combine with sterling silver in beautiful geometric inlay to create the butterfly set at the center of a split sterling silver shank in this wonderful cuff bracelet by Zuni silversmith Allison Dishta.  The butterfly’s tear drop shaped body is set with white mother of pearl, while each of its lower wings is inlaid with jet, golden mother of pearl, and each of its upper wings with the same stones and the addition of turquoise.  The butterfly’s head is turquoise with jet eyes, while two sterling antennae protrude from the top of the head.  The piece’s split shank showcases two loose sterling rope patterns set vertically between its bands on either side of the butterfly, and the shank merges at each end. 1 1/2″ wide with an inner end to end measurement of 5 3/8″ and a 1 1/4″ opening.  Cuff is very slightly adjustable.
