Description

Handmade by innovative and talented Jemez potter Carol Lucero Gachupin, this adorable figurine showcases a seated dog and two children.  The chocolate colored dog rests on its hind legs and bottom, its head turned toward the side, one child laying along its back and the other clinging to one of its front legs.  The dog is accented with a delicate butterfly atop one ear, as well as a basket containing a bone resting at its front paws.  The girl flanking the dogs’ back has a toy rope flung over one arm, and both girls are painted in red shirts and black skirts, white bows accenting their hair.  5 3/8″ tall x 4 14″ wide x 3″ deep.
