Description
A winding, deeply etched avanyu makes its way around the center of the body of this small, expertly polished black bowl by Santa Clara potter Stella Chavarria. The avanyu, or water serpent, showcases a traditional lightning shaped tongue and water pattern body. The piece is finished with a high-shine, streak free stone polish. 3 1/2″ tall x 3 1/2″ wide.
