Description
A beautiful, traditional piece by Hopi potter Adelle Nampeyo, this traditional seed pot showcases a buff backdrop painted in various patterns in red and black. The opening of the piece is painted completely around by a red square, followed by three black, fine line squares, which give way to additional, reoccurring patterns including starbursts and whirlwinds, the furthermost patterns depicting feathers and extending downward toward the seed pot’s base. The piece is finished with a lovely stone polish. 3 1/2″ tall x 5 1/4″ wide.
