Description
Featuring various patterns painted atop a polished red surface in buff and black, this stunning wedding vase was handmade by Jemez potter Glendora Fragua. The handle of the vase is painted along the edges in buff, which gives way to a diagonally painted swath of the same color in which portions of the piece’s polished body show through in traditional patterns. Additional weather patterns and floral patterns are painted in black, the stone polish juxtaposing the matte painting perfectly. 8 1/4″ tall x 4″ wide.
