Description

Handmade by prolific Jemez potter Alvina Yepa, this stunning vase features a melon style body and is finished with a step rim, its neck etched with various traditional patterns.  The piece’s red exterior gives way beautifully to sgraffito patterns including steps and corn stalks, the buff below standing out beautifully.  The remainder of the vase showcases deeply etched, curved lines, giving it the recognizable melon style look. It is finished with a stunning, high-shine stone polish. 5 1/2″ tall x 4 1/2″ wide.
