Description

Handmade by Jemez potter Scott Small, following in the footsteps and style of his late mother, Mary, this adorable turtle figurine is expertly hand painted in white and grey atop a red backdrop and is finished with turquoise accents.  The shell of the turtle is painted with various geometric and weather patterns as well as corn stalks, as are its four limbs.  The turtles eyes are set with round turquoise pieces, while a larger, rounded triangular turquoise piece rests at the center top of its shell.  2 3/4″ tall x 5 3/4″ wide x 8 1/2″ long.
