Description
Handmade and hand painted by Jemez potter Chrislyn Fragua, this gorgeous traditional storyteller figurine features a seated woman and two children. The children, both girls, sit on the woman’s outstretched legs, one holding a piece of corn and the other holding a basket. The woman, in turn, holds a small piece of pottery, while a lovely shawl is draped over her head and extends down her shoulders and back. Each figurine is painted in red, black and buff, while the back of the woman’s shawl is painted brown with buff, grey, red and black patterns along the edge. 5 1/2″ tall x 2 5/8″ wide x 4″ long.
