Created in her signature, detailed style, this stunning handmade storyteller by Acoma potter Judy Lewis features delicate, hand painted patterns and whimsical details. A seated woman rests with her legs outstretched, a piece of pottery held in both hands along her lap, with a little girl seated on each arm. One of the girls rests with one hand along the rim of the pot, while the girl opposite rests with one arm around the woman. One bird sits atop one of the buns the woman’s hair is pulled up in, while another bird rests on one leg, a butterfly on the opposite. The piece of pottery is painted with a lizard, while each of the figurines is painted in black, white, red and pink details. 4 1/4″ tall x 3″ wide x 3 3/4″ deep.
