Description
A seated woman rests with four children in her lap and one on each shoulder in this adorable storyteller figurine by Jemez potter Mary Herrera. The woman sits with both legs outstretched, her arms wrapped around two of the children sitting closest to her stomach, while two more children rest along her legs. An additional child is flung over each shoulder, with all figures smiling. Each of the four girls in the woman’s lap have flowers painted in their hair, while the boys on each shoulder are painted with wraps around their heads. All figures are painted in combinations of buff, black and red. 4″ tall x 3″ wide x 2 3/8″ deep.
