Description
Celebrated potter Fawn Navasie, known for incredible handmade pieces in the traditional Hopi style, created this gorgeous piece featuring various hand painted designs. The jar showcases a buff-yellow backdrop, a section just below the rim painted red and corrugated. The body of the piece is painted mostly above the inflection with alternating weather and water patterns, dragonflies, and maidens holding parrots and with offering baskets atop their heads. The piece is finished with a lovely stone polish. 8 1/2″ tall x 11″ wide.
