Description

Turquoise, white mother of pearl, jet and sterling silver with just a hint of coral combine in this gorgeous pin/pendant by Zuni silversmith Darrell Shebola, depicting an intricate blue jay.   The body and half of the head of the blue jay are inlaid with white mother of pearl, while the top of the head features turquoise and the beak and eye, jet.  The bird’s wing is inlaid with each of the aforementioned stones, along with its tail, while its sterling and jet claws latch onto a sterling silver branch set with a single coral leaf.  Bail is located at the top of the back of the head while pin rests diagonally across body and sterling branch. 2 1/2″ long x 1 3/4″ wide.
