Description

Eight small, oval pink conch pieces line a single strand sterling silver dot necklace that is finished with a sterling naja and additional pink conch stone to form this traditional squash blossom necklace and earring set by Navajo silversmith Shirley Henry.  The small naja of the piece is cut out along the edges and stamped with scallop designs, while its inner curve is bordered by a sterling rope pattern, from which hangs an oval pink conch stone.  The stone, as are the others along the necklace, is set in a simple sterling silver bezel and surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern. Earrings match the stonework along the necklace.  Necklace measures 19″ from end to end, not including naja length.  Naja measures 1 1/2″ long including bail x 1 1/8 wide. Total necklace length is 20 1/2″.  Earring measure 1″ long including French hook x 3/8″ wide.
