Seven incredible, tear drop shaped, bright blue pieces of turquoise form a traditional naja in this eye-catching necklace by Navajo silversmith Alice McShirley. Each stone is set in a sawtooth sterling silver bezel and contains portions of pyrite, matrix, or both, and each stone is separated by two applique sterling dots, one on top and one on bottom. A sterling silver chain is attached on each side to one of the pieces of turquoise, the chain finished with a lobster claw clasp. Naja measures 1 1/2″ long x 1 3/4″ wide. Necklace measures 18 3/4″ from end to end not including naja length. Total length is 20 1/4″.
