Description

Turquoise, jet, white mother of pearl and coral combine in incredible inlay to create these large, impressive and life-like blue jay earrings by Zuni silversmith Andrea Lonjose.  White mother of pearl and jet comprise each blue jay’s face, while turquoise, white mother of pearl and jet are inlaid along the top of the head, back, and feathers, sterling silver separating the wings from the body.  Each blue jay rests on a sterling silver branch, its talons inlaid with jet and a small coral inlaid leaf at the end of each.  The stone work along each bird is etched, adding texture and dimension.  3 1/4″ long including French hook x 1″ wide.
