Description
A single, oval piece of beautiful blue-green turquoise set horizontally along a sterling silver shank comprises the focal point of this traditional cuff bracelet by Navajo silversmith Walter Vandever. The stone, which contains portions of brown and golden matrix, is set in a notched sterling silver bezel and surrounded at the base by a row of thin, domed sterling silver bands. This, in turn, is surrounded by a thicker sterling band stamped and cut out on top and bottom, the identical patterns offsetting one another diagonally. Stone and silverwork rest atop a thrice split, brushed sterling silver shank, the center of which comprises a sterling silver rope pattern. Shank merges almost immediately. 1 1/4″ wide with an inner end to end measurement of 5 3/8″ and a 1 1/4″ opening. Cuff is somewhat adjustable.
