Description

A single, oval piece of light, bright blue turquoise is surrounded by sterling silver in this delicate, vintage Navajo cuff bracelet.  The bracelet, created circa the 1950s and part of the “Bell” Manufacturing operation, features the dainty turquoise stone at its center, set in a simple sterling silver bezel and surrounded by two rope patterns, the outer rope finished with applique sterling dots on top and bottom.  Additional sterling applique work is set along the piece’s sterling silver shank in the form of rope pattern scrolls and sterling dots, while the edges of the shank along the portion in which it is split are scalloped. The remainder of the shank is stamped with arrow, scallop and dot designs on each side. The piece showcases a lovely patina, a mark of its age. 3/4″ wide with an inner end to end measurement of 4 3/4″ and a 78″ opening.  Cuff is somewhat adjustable.
