Description
A single, large oval piece of deep blue turquoise containing large portions of black matrix running throughout creates the focal point of this unique bolo tie by Navajo silversmith Bennie Ration. The stone is set in a simple sterling silver bezel and surrounded at the base by a thin sterling silver rope pattern, followed by a stamped and cut out sterling band showcasing a reoccurring pattern and one row of applique sterling dots on each of the longer sides. The stone is finished with a detailed, applique sterling silver feather at its center. Sterling bolo tips are stamped with scallop patterns at the top. Stone and silverwork measure 2 3/4″ long x 1 5/8″ wide. Bolo measures 22 1/4″ from top to bottom.
