Description

Well-known Acoma potter Paula Estevan, who creates and paints pieces by hand in incredible eyedazzler designs, created this beautiful piece in the same style.  The jar showcases a scalloped, narrow rim, the base of which is painted solid black, leading into a checkerboard eyedazzler design in black, white, and red.  The pattern graduates larger toward the piece’s inflection, then smaller again toward the base.  5 7/8″ tall x 6″ wide.
