Description

Handmade by Acoma potter Kathy Victornio, this large, impressive jar features hand painted patterns in black, white and red.  The rim of the jar is entirely black, giving way to rows of black and white cloud patterns (triangles).  This, in turn, leads into several panels along the piece’s inflection, the center of each painted with an intricate fine line starburst design.  Each panel is separated by a row of red triangles running vertically, while each starburst is surrounded by black and white weather and step designs.  The bottom of the piece features a row of rain patterns, while the base is left white.  10 1/4″ tall x 9″ wide.
