Description
Multiple iterations of feather patterns are painted in black, red and blue along a white backdrop in this gorgeous, eye-catching jar by Jemez potter Phyllis Waquie. The rim of the piece is painted solid red, giving way to a row of feathers outlined in black and featuring red accents. Below, square panels showcase feathers painted in each of the aforementioned colors, alongside floral and weather patterns including clouds and rain. The base of the piece is also painted red, in a band thicker than that along the rim. 6 3/8″ tall x 6 1/2″ wide.
