Description

Turquoise, coral, malachite, gold lip mother of pearl, jet and pink mussel shell combine in beautiful, intricate inlay to create this hummingbird pendant by Zuni silversmith Tamara Pinto.  The hummingbird’s head comprises turquoise and coral, while its beak is inlaid with jet.  Its pink mussel shell body gives way to gold lip mother of pearl and malachite wings, and its tail feathers combine both turquoise and jet.  Stones are textured to create added dimension, and sterling silver accents separate some of the inlay work. 2 1/4″ long including bail x 1 5/8″ wide.
