Description

Hummingbirds and flowers are etched along the surface of a textured, buff backdrop in this beautiful, handmade jar by Mata Ortiz potter Lupe Soto.  Hummingbirds and flowers overlap along the surface of the piece, the birds painted in black and etched so that the buff color underneath adds accents along the wings and beak, while the flowers are painted in green and red, also etched to expose some buff details.  6 3/8″ tall x 5 1/2″ wide.
