Description
In an impressive display of artistry, Mata Ortiz potter Abraham Rodriguez Mora has carved not one, but seven owls in black and white along the piece’s surface. The owls are either fully visible in black or more inconspicuous in white, outlined in black, each with a slightly different look. In addition to the owls, various geometric patterns including swirls, triangles, and circles have been carved, the circles representing moons, and one with stars carved inside. 5″ tall x 4″ wide.
