Description
Handmade by Jemez potter Scott Small and in the style of his late mother, Mary, this adorable turtle figurine features multiple hand painted patterns in white and grey atop its red base, and is finished with turquoise accents. The turtle, formed with limbs splayed outward and tail slightly curved upward, features various geometric patterns painted along its shell, which all extend in ovals from a single turquoise piece set at top center. The stone contains portions of pyrite and black matrix, while patterns include fine lines, tulip designs, star patterns, clouds in the form of triangles, and feather designs. The turtle is finished with turuqoise dots comprising its eyes. 3″ tall x 6″ wide x 8″ long.
