Description
A large, thick piece of grey, black and brown Picasso marble is carved into an impressive elephant in this incredible fetish by Zuni artist Calvert Bowannie. The elephant stands on all four legs, facing directly forward, its long trunk nearly reaching the ground. It is finished with tiny turquoise inlay eyes and a mother of pearl tusk on each side of its trunk. Elephants are generally associated with strength, wisdom, good fortune and loyalty. 2 3/4″ tall x 1 7/8″ wide x 3″ long.
