Description

A beautiful piece of Mexican onyx varying translucent yellow to tan with white striations is carved into a traditional bear in this fun fetish by Zuni carver Scott Garnett.  The bear’s head is turned slightly to one side, its mouth holding a turquoise fish. The bear is finished with a medicine bundle showcasing a turquoise arrow tied with sinew to its back.  In many Native American cultures, the bear represents strength, introspection, healing, and the spiritual journey. 1 1/2″ tall x 7/8″ wide x 2 1/2″ wide.
