Description

The Zuni fetish ram is known as the patron of increasing both crops and heard. Similar to the Elk, abundance is the biggest associated symbol for this spirit. When carved with other rams, like this piece, the fetish symbolizes the strength of family and the prayer for “Increasing the family heard”. This piece features a ram, ewe and kid carved from a lovely and thick piece of Elk antler. It was carved by very well known artist, Emery Boone of Zuni. Emery is most sought after for his “Chaco” frog fetishes which are a resurrection of the famous fetish frog found in the ancient Chaco Ruins.  3” tall x 1 1/2” wide
