Description

Five wolves, one large and four small, comprise this lovely fetish bundle by  Zuni carver Daisy (Natewa) Leonard.  The center, largest wolf is carved from green turquoise containing large portions of brown matrix, while the additional, smaller wolves comprise dyed turquoise, coral, and Picasso marble.  Two wolves are stacked one on top of the other on each side of the large wolf, while a medicine bundle made of shell and turquoise binds them together.  In many Native American cultures, the wolf is considered a teacher, path finder, protector and hunter.  1″ tall x 1 1/2″ wide x 2 5/8″ long.
