Carved from cottonwood and polished to give it a sheen, this owl kachina by Robert Platero features several carved details and beautiful coloration. Feathers extend from each side of the owl’s head, while additional feathers are attached to the top. The owl holds a stick in each hand, while various carved details adorn its body. The owl is said to be beneficial to agriculture because of his destruction to rodents, and to symbolize intelligence & wisdom. 8″ tall x 6″ wide.
