An intricate and detailed sterling silver sunface comprises the center of this gorgeous pendant by Navajo silversmith Bennie Ration. The sunface, embedded within the bottom portion of the tear drop shaped pendant, features a round face complete with deeply grooved rectangular eyes and a round, appliqued mouth, as well as horizontal and vertical lines stamped along the forehead. The face is surrounded by a circle of expertly stamped sterling silver feathers, and is bordered by sterling silver, encasing the sunface as a whole. This silver is cut out with triangle patterns along the top, creating a shadowbox effect, and a single turquoise piece is set just above the sunface in a simple sterling silver bezel. The main silver portion of the pendant is bordered at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern, followed by a sterling band stamepd with scallop and fine line designs and cut out to form a reoccurring pattern. 2 5/8″ long including bail x 1 1/2″ wide.
